Three Schenck Price Attorneys Honored with 2023 New Jersey Legal Awards

Schenck Price is delighted to share the news that three of our associates have been honored with 2023 New Jersey Legal Awards by the New Jersey Law Journal. Jennifer A. Golub has been recognized as a Mentor honoree, which is awarded to those who dedicate time and effort to be a true mentor to those around them. Jordan M. Wassel and Carly M. Clinton have been recognized as New Leaders of the Bar honorees.  This award honors younger attorneys who have both notable achievements and outstanding potential in the practice of law.

“Congratulations to Jennifer, Jordan, and Carly for these well-deserved recognitions,” said Gary F. Werner, Managing Partner of Schenck Price. “The firm is proud of their initiative and accomplishments.”

Jennifer (Jen) Golub has naturally taken on the role of mentor to the younger associates of Schenck Price, offering both professional and personal guidance. After practicing law for a number of years, Jen decided to take a step back from her career to be home with her two children and volunteer in the community. She reignited her career as an Associate in Schenck Price’s Corporate and Business Law Practice Group in 2022. In addition to maintaining a busy practice, Jen is regularly sought out for guidance and her realistic perspectives. She is also a mentor for the Student/Partner Alliance, a nonprofit organization that provides scholarship and mentoring to high school students in New Jersey.

Jordan Wassel is an Associate in the Estate, Gift & Charitable Planning and the Elder and Special Needs Law Practice Groups. He advises clients and develops estate plans customized to meet their individual needs. Jordan takes his practice further by not only tailoring efficient estate plans, but also by ensuring that each client is knowledgeable and informed on every step of the process. Jordan enjoys hosting free informative sessions, teaching those around him about the crucial estate-planning process all families and individuals should consider. Additionally, Jordan serves as a Counsel to the Board of the Mimi Washington Starrett Foundation (MWS Foundation). The MWS Foundation, which made its first grants in 2022 of over $550,000, is designed to provide grants to nonprofit organizations that have a meaningful impact on the well-being and economic development of the Morris County community, including those that address issues surrounding health, addiction and homelessness; animal welfare; equal education opportunities; access to the arts; and environmental and historical preservation.

Carly Clinton, an Associate in the Land Use and Commercial Real Estate Practice Groups, represents a diverse clientele in a broad range of land use matters. Her practice also encompasses the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate. Carly joined Schenck Price in 2022 and brought along her extensive experience in representing community associations throughout New Jersey and New York. In addition to her memberships with the Morris County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Morris Class of 2023, the Morris County Bar Association, and the New Jersey State Bar Association, Carly enjoys playing an active role in the Firm’s externship program for pre-law students at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.
