Ryan J. Windels is an Associate in Schenck Price’s Land Use & Redevelopment and Corporate and Business Law Practice Groups. He represents private individuals and entities in complex land use matters, overseeing applications from initial strategy through final approval. He also has experience advising a wide range of governmental bodies across New Jersey, including municipal governing bodies, planning and zoning boards, school boards, utility authorities, and county agencies, on issues involving litigation, employment, contracts, elections, and real estate.
Before joining Schenck Price, Ryan served as Associate Corporate Counsel for a New Jersey-headquartered solar company and previously practiced at a Northern New Jersey law firm.
Earlier in his career, Ryan was a Regional Director in the office of former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, where he acted as the primary liaison to local and county officials across eleven of the state’s twenty one counties. He has also worked in public affairs and strategic communications, supporting corporations in the financial services sector.
Ryan earned his J.D. from New York Law School, where he was a member of the evening division, and holds a bachelor’s degree from James Madison University, where he was elected President of the Student Government Association.
