Katherine A. Gilfillan and Joseph R. Haftek, Jr. Elected to Schenck Price Management Committee

Partners Katherine A. Gilfillan and Joseph R. Haftek, Jr. have been elected to the Management Committee at Schenck, Price, Smith & King, it was announced today by Gary F. Werner, Managing Partner. Gilfillan and Haftek join Partners Farah N. Ansari, William J. Buckley,  Ryder T. Ulon, and Gary F. Werner in creating directives and setting policy for the 110-year-old New Jersey law firm.

“I’m delighted to welcome Kate and Joe to our executive team,” said Werner.  “Their contributions and unique perspectives will be valuable additions.” 

Gilfillan, a partner in the Firm’s School Law and Labor and Employment Practice Groups, represents institutions of higher education and numerous school districts as well as private employers in all areas of labor and employment law, special education law, contracting, and in matters dealing with teacher and student discipline.  A graduate of Suffolk University Law School’s night program, Gilfillan resides in Madison.

Haftek is a partner and co-chair in Schenck Price’s Construction Law Practice Group and represents diverse clients including developers, construction managers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, construction professionals, design professionals, and related businesses in both state and federal courts.  He holds a J.D. from Villanova University Law School and resides in Wyckoff.
