Jim Kassis and Georgia Reid obtained full Summary Judgment in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County
Litigation Partner James A. Kassis and Associate attorney Georgia D. Reid recently secured a significant victory for a condominium association and its property manager, obtaining full summary judgment in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County.
James and Georgia successfully argued that summary judgment was warranted because no genuine issue of material fact existed and plaintiff could not prevail as a matter of law. They demonstrated that the condominium’s Master Deed and By-Laws barred plaintiff’s claims absent willful, wanton, or gross negligence—none of which were alleged or supported by evidence. The lawsuit arose out of a personal injury claim.
On March 13, 2026, the Court granted the motion, dismissing the claims against our clients in their entirety and bringing the litigation to a complete resolution.
Congratulations to James and Georgia on this excellent result for our client.
