Michael J. Marotte, Partner and Co-Chair of the Insurance Law Practice Group, presented an insurance law seminar on January 9, for insurance professionals explaining the statutory, administrative law and legal requirements for good faith claims handling and insurance coverage review. Included in the presentation was a dissertation on the statutory and regulatory requirements of the New Jersey Insurance Trade Practices Act and Unfair Claims Settlement Practices Act.
