Schenck Price attorneys John E. Ursin and Jennifer A. Golub assisted FellowshipLife, a non-profit organization, in acquiring the assets of The House of the Good Shepherd, a senior living facility in Hackettstown, New Jersey. The acquisition is FellowshipLife’s second, part of a strategic plan to become a multi-site operator of high-quality residential communities and related services for older adults and will further FellowshipLife’s mission to provide a more personalized approach for senior living communities. The acquisition was a complex transaction, including legal and environmental due diligence, interim management and assumption of a bank loan, where a new affiliate was created and substantial coordination was required with the non-profit seller.
