Schenck Price Attorney Matthew R. Parker successfully defended a New Jersey restaurant in discrimination claim brought before the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights (“DCR”). While plaintiff alleged that he was prohibited from visiting the restaurant due to racial discrimination, Mr. Parker demonstrated there was insufficient evidence to support this claim and persuaded the DCR that plaintiff was ultimately prohibited from visiting the restaurant due to consistent mistreatment and harassment of the restaurant’s employees. The DCR validated the actions taken by Schenck Price’s client and dismissed plaintiff’s lawsuit.
