Shane Warmington is Counsel in the Firm’s Community Association Practice Group, where he concentrates on community association law with a particular focus on litigation and collections. He represents condominium and homeowners associations in a broad range of legal matters, including enforcement of governing documents, covenant compliance, and dispute resolution.
Shane manages all aspects of the collections process, drawing on his experience as former head of a Collections Department, where he oversaw high-volume delinquency matters and developed effective recovery strategies for community associations. His work includes lien enforcement, foreclosure proceedings, and advising clients on proactive measures to mitigate financial risk.
In addition to his collections practice, Shane regularly attends and counsels boards of directors, providing practical, business-oriented legal advice. He is also experienced in drafting and negotiating contracts, preparing amendments to governing documents, and guiding associations through complex legal and operational issues.
Prior to joining Schenck Price, Shane practiced at a Morris County firm, where he led the firm’s collections practice and advised management companies and association boards on legal strategy and compliance.
During law school at American University Washington College of Law, Shane served as a Student Attorney in the Asylum Clinic. In that role, he represented asylum seekers and provided mentorship and support to at-risk adolescents in juvenile detention, demonstrating his commitment to advocacy and community service.
