Julie L. Cross joined Schenck, Price, Smith & King in 2022. Julie practices in the firm’s Elder and Special Needs Law and Estate, Gift & Charitable Planning practice groups.
As an elder law attorney she assists families with long-term care planning, including preparing for and establishing means-tested government benefits and assisted living and nursing home admissions.
Julie assists clients with creating estate plans to meet clients’ personal, family and financial needs. She also assists families with the process of administering estates after the death of a family member, including the probate of Wills, assisting estate representatives with marshaling assets and the preparation of any necessary Federal or State Estate and/or Inheritance Tax Returns. Additionally, she has assisted with guardianship proceedings and the preparation of Special Needs/Supplemental Benefits Trusts for disabled individuals seeking to maintain or qualify for government benefits.
