Ashley Fay concentrates her practice in the acquisition, disposition and financing of commercial real estate, including drafting and negotiating of purchase and sale agreements and loan documents, performing due diligence and resolving zoning, environmental and other closing issues. She also represents landlords and tenants in the leasing of commercial properties.
Prior to joining Schenck Price in 2022, Ashley was associated with a small Bergen County law firm. Her practice focused on real estate transactions and business formations.
Ashley is a graduate of Montclair State University with a degree in Justice Studies, a concentration in Justice Systems and a minor in Psychology. She began her legal career as a paralegal, concentrating primarily on residential and commercial real estate transactions. While attending Rutgers Law School, she took part in both the Community and Transactional Law Clinic and the Entrepreneurial Clinic to help lower income individuals in and around the City of Newark with their business needs. The Clinics represent a variety of businesses ranging from start-up businesses that need guidance for business formation to businesses that are further along and want contracts drafted to meet their needs.
