Phoebe Youhanna Joins Environmental Law Practice Group

Phoebe Youhanna has joined Schenck Price's Environmental Law practice group. She focuses her work on environmental law and the impact on real estate and development, concentrating on compliance and transactional work, development and land use law, and local government law, as well as federal and state environmental litigation. Working primarily with public entities, she has counseled public clients on a variety of issues including environmental liabilities, exposure and contribution.

She has also counseled clients in complex redevelopment and environmental matters, including with respect to the Local Redevelopment and Housing Law (LRHL), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), New Jersey Spill Compensation and Control Act (Spill Act) and the Municipal Land Use Law (MLUL). She has worked on involved litigation matters concerning sewerage authorities and redevelopment matters, with issues relating to the Sewerage Authorities Law (SAL) and contract disputes. Her work with public entities has thoroughly acquainted her with drafting detailed ordinances, which she has done for municipalities, and resolutions, which she has done for municipalities, sewerage authorities and planning boards. She has also drafted complex agreements, including with respect to redevelopment agreements.
