Schenck Price Recognized by Chambers USA

Chambers USA has recognized Schenck Price's Environmental Practice as well as four individual attorneys in its 2020 edition. The Firm's Environmental practice is one of only 20 in New Jersey that was recognized.  It was described as a "well-reputed firm with a broad environmental practice.  Focuses on handling environmental aspects of real estate and business transactions.  Also adept at counseling clients in regard to environmental insurance policies and claims in contaminated site remediation."  Richard J. Conway, Jr. and Sean Monaghan, members of the Firm's Environmental Practice, were individually recognized.  Richard, who was one of 20 lawyers in Band 1 of the Environmental attorneys, is described as "'a very knowledgeable attorney, with a lot of experience,' reports a source. He handles environmental transactional support as well as managing litigation and enforcement actions."  Sean, who was one of 17 attorneys in Band 2, "is particularly noted for advising clients on the environmental aspects of real estate transactions, regularly providing high-level compliance advice."

Two other Schenck Price attorneys were also recognized.  James Dempsey is one of six attorneys in Band 1 of Banking & Finance attorneys.  "Sources note that James Dempsey is 'a very good lawyer who does sophisticated work.' He represents financial institutions in significant transactions including asset-based and construction financings."  Gary Werner was one of 24 Construction Law attorneys cited.  He "'is really good at talking clients through issues and helping them to avoid disputes,' according to impressed sources, who also highlight his experience in construction litigation. He is commented for his expertise in both contract negotiation and litigation."
