Elder Law In A Day-2013

Gary Mazart, Esq. and Joshua Beisker, Esq. will be speaking as part of the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education’s program “Elder Law In A Day-2013” on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, about “Designating Trusts as Beneficiary of Retirement Assets: Drafting Considerations and Other Traps”.  They will focus on Drafting to Achieve Clients’ Planning Goals; Avoiding Tax Traps; Post-Mortem Clean-up, and New Issues under ATRA 2012 and ACA 2010. Gary and Josh will also provide an overview of the most often used trust vehicles in the elder and disability law practice through which retirement assets are administered, including credit shelter and marital deduction trusts, discretionary support trusts, special needs trusts, supplemental benefits trusts and revocable trusts, and will discuss relevant estate, trust and gift provisions contained in the 2014 Treasury “Greenbook” and President Obama’s Budget Proposals.
