Edwards and Kats-Chalfant Recognized

Crystal West Edwards, a partner with Schenck Price, has been selected by The New Jersey Law Journal as a Distinguished Leader, one of only 15 attorneys in the state so recognized.  Ms. Edwards is the youngest attorney among the Distinguished Leaders.

Olga Kats-Chalfant, Counsel, was named one of New Jersey's New Leaders of the Bar by The New Jersey Law Journal, recognizing her as an "ascending leader representing the future of the legal profession."

Ms. Edwards joined the firm in 2010. Ms. Edwards focuses her practice on elder law, special needs planning and advocacy, estate planning and estate administration.   She is President of the Garden State Bar Association, and is a Certified Elder Law Attorney by the ABA Accredited National Elder Law Foundation. She is Immediate Past President of the New Jersey chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and is a member of the Elder and Disability Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association.

Ms. Kats-Chalfant practices primarily in health care litigation and regulatory matters, representing all health care professionals in medical malpractice litigation, licensing actions, and third party payer disputes.  She has extensive experience in defense of physicians, practice gruops, nurses, physical therapists, and medical assistants in all phases of litigation.
