Schenck Price is pleased to welcome three new partners into our Firm:  Farah N. Ansari, Katherine A. Gilfillan and Jason J. Waldstein.  All three had previously been counsel to the Firm.

Farah N. Ansari, a tax attorney and Co-Chair of the Firm’s Nonprofit Practice Group at Schenck Price, is a past Chair of the Taxation Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association and is currently Co-Chair of the Tax-Exempt Organizations Committee of the Taxation Section of the Bar Association.  She has a particular focus and interest in nonprofits and provides advice on various issues that affect both New York and New Jersey nonprofit entities.

Kate Gilfillan concentrates her practice in the area of school law and public sector law.  She represents numerous school districts in all areas of labor and employment law, special education law, residency, teacher and student discipline, contract preparation, public contracting, FMLA/FLA issues and other student matters.

Jason Waldstein has assisted a broad range of clients, including a Fortune 100 company, but he has focused his practice on assisting closely-held companies.  His experience with these entities has been equally broad, as he has counseled in areas ranging from drafting, negotiating and reviewing agreements to developing and implementing policies and procedures.

Says Managing Partner Gary Werner, “Farah, Kate and Jason are wonderful people who will make a tremendous addition to our partnership. They have all demonstrated the technical legal skills, devotion to our clients and personal commitment to our law firm that warrants this recognition.”
