Schenck, Price, Smith & King attorneys, Michael J. Marotte and Ira J. Hammer,  recently appeared before the Department of the Treasury for the State of New Jersey and successfully appealed the denial of an application of SPSK’s client for certification as a Women – owned Business Enterprise (WBE) under the New Jersey Unified Certification Program.  The client, located in Essex County, New Jersey,  supports many jobs in New Jersey and will now enjoy the benefits of being a State of New Jersey Certified Women Owned Business Enterprise.

Mr. Marotte serves as chair of the Firm’s Telecommunications Law Practice Group and the Appellate Practice Group.  He is also a member of the Firm’s Management Committee.

Mr. Hammer leads the Firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group.  Mr. Hammer is also a member of the Firm’s Corporate Practice, Technology and Social Media Practice Groups.
