Schenck, Price, Smith & King’s Tax Planning practice, which handles a wide range of business and personal federal and state tax matters, has kept current on the tax law changes recently passed by Congress and signed into law by President Trump. Practice Group Chair Douglas Eisenberg and Counsel Farah Ansari recently authored an SPSK Tax Report, entitled “Tax Cuts and Jobs Act,” which briefly summarizes the impact of the tax law on businesses and individuals.
Mr. Eisenberg represents many closely held entities in a wide variety of areas with a focus on the tax aspects of the transaction. He also devotes much of his practice to interacting with the Internal Revenue Service on audits which, in some cases, reach the United States Tax Court. Ms. Ansari, who is the current Chair of the Taxation Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, provides guidance to businesses and individuals on various issues relating to federal and state taxation, including tax controversy. She also provides tax guidance to non-profit organizations. Both Mr. Eisenberg and Ms. Ansari hold an LL.M. in Taxation from NYU School of Law.
Ms. Ansari is a panelist in an upcoming NJICLE program on January 29 and 31 – “Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 – How the New Tax Bill Will Affect you, your Clients and Your Practice.”View Attachment View Attachment
