Commercial Leasing

Schenck, Price, Smith & King, LLP has a long-established, full-service commercial leasing practice, representing both landlords and tenants in the public, private and institutional sectors.

We have negotiated significant leases for our clients, including leases of office and retail space as well as leases of manufacturing, industrial and warehouse facilities.  We handle the full life cycle of a lease – negotiating and drafting leases, terminating leases, and, when necessary, litigating lease disputes.  From our experience advising both large and small-scale landlords and tenants, as well as working with many of the top brokers in the market, we have gained valuable insight that allows us to negotiate the best possible terms for our clients.  Also, as appropriate, we work with other attorneys in our firm on environmental, land use, construction and real estate finance needs.

Our attorneys regularly speak and publish on commercial leasing topics and related issues.

Representative matters have included:

  • More than 50 leases for tenants of cell phone store locations;
  • Numerous leases for tenants of office spaces in Class A office buildings;
  • Lease for tenant of a convenience store location; and
  • Lease for tenant of a restaurant location with a bar.
