Schenck, Price, Smith & King has represented numerous insurance carriers for more than eighty years. Through those relationships, the firm has developed substantial experience in virtually all types of defense work.

Our experience includes defending general liability claims, products liability suits, environmental suits of all types, professional liability claims, employment claims, slip and falls, automobile accidents, premises liability suits, dram shop claims, fire and other casualty losses, bad faith claims and insurance coverage disputes.

In addition, on behalf of numerous boards of education or their insurers, we have represented school districts in defense of claims including sexual harassment, civil rights, employment discrimination, special education, and others.

We have defended claims for many insurance carriers, including Chubb, Cigna, Crum and Forster, Employers Reinsurance Corporation, Farmers Mutual, Franklin Mutual, Hanover Insurance, North River, Pennsylvania Lumbermens Mutual, Pennsylvania Manufacturers Association, Selective, and The Hartford. We have also represented a number of major self-insured corporate clients in defense of general liability, products liability and environmental claims, including Amana, Sherwin-Williams Travelers, White Consolidated and Sea Ray Boats. Carriers we have represented in insurance coverage disputes include Aetna Casualty and Surety, Coregis, Genesis, and Westport.

We regularly prepare clear and concise reports on all significant developments, including the settlement value, degree of exposure and likelihood of success at trial for each case.
