TELECOMMUNICATIONS LAWMembers of the telecommunications law group have represented telecommunications companies and cable television operators for more than twenty-five years and have been at the forefront of many regulatory proceedings in New Jersey. The scope of services that we provide includes commercial transactions, regulatory matters, municipal approvals, employment, and litigation. We represent both publicly traded and private telecommunications companies. Our clients have included cable television operators, competitive local exchange carriers, wireless companies and telecommunication infrastructure companies. We serve as counsel to our telecommunication clients in corporate and financial transactions, franchising, regulatory matters, rate proceedings, real estate and litigation. We assist our clients in pursuing new business opportunities. As part of our corporate practice, we advise our telecommunications clients on complex transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, financing, and have special expertise in drafting and negotiating telecommunications agreements, such as IRU agreements, master carrier agreements, master service agreements, etc. We regularly appear in federal and state courts and before the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities on a wide range of regulatory and commercial issues. The additional resources of the firm’s Litigation and Real Estate Departments compliment our substantive expertise in telecommunications law. We also have substantial experience in representing our telecommunications clients before municipalities in matters involving local franchising, zoning and right-of-way.
