Wynne A. Whitman is a partner with Schenck, Price, Smith & King and is a member of the firm's Tax, Trust and Estate. Her principal areas of practice are estate planning and administration, charitable trusts, and estate and tax planning and counseling.

Before joining Schenck, Price, Smith & King, LLP in March 1998, Ms. Whitman completed a Chancery Division judicial clerkship in Union County, New Jersey, with the Honorable Frederick C. Kentz, Jr. and the Honorable John M. Boyle, and subsequently formed a law practice in Southern New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She also served as a National Bank Examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency prior to attending law school.

Ms. Whitman is co-author of Shacking Up—The Smart Girl’s Guide to Living in Sin Without Getting Burned (Broadway Books, March 2003). She has made appearances on CBS MarketWatch and CNN, as well as local and national radio broadcasts. Ms. Whitman has been featured in many publications, including msn.com, More magazine, bankrate.com, USA Today, and the Daily Record. Her latest book, Wants, Wishes, and Wills—A Medical and Legal Guide to Protecting Yourself and Your Family In Sickness and In Health (Financial Times Press, May 2007), provides guidance to individuals preparing for the end of life.

A 1986 graduate of Lafayette College with a degree in Economics and Business, Ms. Whitman is a dedicated volunteer having served as President of the Lafayette College Alumni Association and a member of the Council of Lafayette Women. Ms. Whitman continued her business education at Fordham University where she earned an MBA in Corporate Finance in 1988. She attended Seton Hall School of Law and graduated cum laude in 1993. Ms. Whitman also holds an LL.M. degree, which she received in 1998 from Villanova University Law School’s Graduate Tax Program.
