Valerie A. Vladyka is an associate with Schenck, Price, Smith & King and a member of the firm’s Litigation Department. Ms. Vladyka specializes in the areas of insurance defense and insurance coverage litigation. Her practice includes representing clients in various federal and state matters involving construction defects, general negligence, toxic torts, and insurance coverage disputes. She is New Jersey defense counsel for a national home warranty company. Ms. Vladyka also represents clients in defense of claims under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

Ms. Vladyka received her undergraduate degree in political science from Montclair State University in 1988, magna cum laude. She received her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1991. After completing law school, Ms. Vladyka served a judicial clerkship with The Honorable James J. Petrella, P.J.A.D. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division.

Ms. Vladyka is a member of the Insurance Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association.

Ms. Vladyka was recognized In 2006 by New Jersey Monthly magazine as one of New Jersey’s “Rising Star, Super Lawyers”^* for Insurance Coverage.
