Mary Joan K. Sheridan
Mary Joan K. Sheridan is an associate with Schenck, Price, Smith & King, LLP and a member of the Tax, Trust and Estates Department and the and Business Law Departments. Her practice includes estate and elder planning, estate administration and general corporate work. Ms. Sheridan is a member of the Morris County Bar Association and the New Jersey Bar Association.
Ms. Sheridan is a graduate of Villa Walsh Academy, Morristown and is an active member of the Academy’s alumnae. In 1994, she received a B.A. degree from Providence College as a Psychology major with a minor in Business Studies. She then entered the Management Training Program at Hudson City Savings Bank and, upon completion, continued there in a management capacity through 1997. Ms. Sheridan received her Paralegal Certificate with Honors from the American Bar Association approved program at Fairleigh Dickinson University in July 1997.
During 2001 and 2002, Ms. Sheridan served as a law clerk in the Division of Law of the Office of the Attorney General of the State of New Jersey. In that position she worked primarily in the Consumer Affairs Prosecution section representing the State’s occupational boards in disciplinary cases tried at the Office of Administrative Law. In 2002, Ms. Sheridan received her Juris Doctorate degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. Ms. Sheridan joined Schenck, Price, Smith & King, LLP in September 2003, at the conclusion of her term of appointment as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Lorraine C. Parker, Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. Ms. Sheridan is a member of the Steering Committee of Parsippany Catholic School Model for the Diocese of Paterson. She also serves on the Advisory Council to the Senior Cents program of Family Service of Morris County.
