Jeffrey T. LaRosa is a partner with Schenck, Price, Smith & King’s Litigation Department and Construction Law Practice Group. Mr. LaRosa concentrates his practice in the areas of insurance coverage litigation, corporate and commercial litigation, construction litigation and professional malpractice actions.. He is co-chair of the firm’s Insurance Coverage Practice Group. Mr. LaRosa is a frequent author and lecturer on commercial litigation and insurance coverage issues. In addition, he has authored numerous articles for The Independent Voice, the trade magazine published for The Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of New Jersey. He has also appeared as amicus counsel for both the Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey and the IIABNJ on cases involving significant legal issues relating to insurance agents and brokers. He is an active member of the Insurance Coverage Section of the American Bar Association. Mr. LaRosa also defends medical malpractice actions work for the Atlantic Health System and its medical staff.

After receiving his undergraduate degree in political science and economics from Bucknell University in 1990, where he graduated cum laude, Mr. LaRosa attended Cornell Law School and received his J.D., cum laude in 1993. While in law school, Mr. LaRosa was an editor of the Cornell International Law Journal.

Mr. LaRosa was first employed by the firm as a law clerk in 1992, then became an associate in 1993 and has been a Partner since 2001. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York. Mr. LaRosa is involved in community activities in Mendham, New Jersey. Mr. LaRosa is a member of the Hilltop Presbyterian Church as well as a member of the Pastime Club, a charitable organization that raises funds for local sports activities. Mr. LaRosa serves as President of the Board of Trustees of the Mendham Borough Library.

Mr. LaRosa was recognized in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 by New Jersey Monthly magazine as one of New Jersey’s “Super Lawyers” ^*.
