Jeffrey S. Goldstein
Jeffrey S. Goldstein is a partner with Schenck, Price, Smith & King, LLP and a member of the firm’s Litigation Department and Committee. Mr. Goldstein is also the Chair of the firm’s Plaintiff’s Personal Injury and Worker’s Compensation Practice Group. FELA-Railroad Law, personal injury, workers’ compensation, and product liability are Mr. Goldstein’s primary areas of expertise. He is also a certified mediator and serves as a court-appointed Arbitrator in both Bergen and Hudson County. A member of the New Jersey bar, Mr. Goldstein has appeared in both the state and federal courts in New Jersey as well as the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mr. Goldstein has been admitted pro hac vice in several other states and serves as New Jersey counsel to several out-of-state attorneys.
Mr. Goldstein has obtained individual settlements for several of his clients in excess of one million dollars, qualifying him to join the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. A member of the American Trial Lawyers Association in New Jersey as well as nationally, Mr. Goldstein is also a member of the Bergen and Hudson County Bar Associations, the American Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, and the Academy of Rail Labor Attorneys. Currently, he serves as President of the Fair Lawn Community School Advisory Board. He also coaches local T-ball and soccer teams in the Borough of Fair Lawn.
As an undergraduate of the University of Maryland, Mr. Goldstein completed an internship with United States Senator Frank Lautenberg. After completing his undergraduate degree in 1986, Mr. Goldstein attended Seton Hall University Law School, graduating in 1989. He completed a one-year judicial clerkship for the Honorable Isabel B. Stark in the Bergen County Superior Court, after which he joined Gallo Geffner Fenster, P.C. where he was partner prior to joining Schenck, Price, Smith & King,LLP.
