Brian M. Foley
Brian M. Foley is a partner with Schenck, Price, Smith & King’s Business and Real Estate Department and Health Care Law Practice Group. He concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of health care law, representing health care systems, hospitals, medical staffs, physicians, and other providers and suppliers. Mr. Foley has extensive experience in fraud and abuse counseling, reimbursement, managed care contracts, medical staff issues, employment and compliance related matters. He also represents providers in state and federal regulatory matters, including professional licensing board matters.
Mr. Foley is a former associate editor of “HealthSpan, the Report of Health Business and Law”.
Mr. Foley graduated with honors from Villanova University in 1983, and received his law degree with honors from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1986. He was admitted to practice in 1986 in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He clerked for the Honorable Thomas S. O’Brien, Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division.
Prior to joining Schenck, Price, Smith & King, LLP, Mr. Foley was the Vice President and General Counsel of Cathedral Healthcare System in Newark, New Jersey and formerly a partner in the law firm of Kalison, McBride, Jackson & Murphy.
